These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MyPersona (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
MyPersona is an AI-powered career document generation tool. It allows you to build a persistent career profile (your “Brain”) and use it to generate tailored CVs and cover letters for job applications. The Service uses AI generation providers (currently Anthropic and OpenAI) for CV generation, document parsing, and related features.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use MyPersona.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Accounts created with false information may be suspended.
- You may only hold one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits is prohibited.
3. Your content
You retain full ownership of all content you input into MyPersona — your career data, uploaded documents, and any other information you provide.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content for the sole purpose of delivering the Service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not share your content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that content you provide does not violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights. Do not upload documents that belong to others without permission.
4. AI-generated output
CVs and cover letters generated by MyPersona are produced by an AI model based on the career information you provide. You are responsible for reviewing all generated output before submitting it to any employer. Specifically:
- MyPersona generates documents based on what you tell it. It is your responsibility to ensure that generated content accurately represents your qualifications and experience.
- Do not submit generated documents that contain inaccuracies or misrepresentations about your background.
- MyPersona is a writing and formatting tool. It does not verify the accuracy of your career data.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate fraudulent documents or misrepresent your credentials to employers.
- Attempt to access another user's account or data.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the Service.
- Use automated means to interact with the Service outside of our supported integrations.
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Gmail integration
The Gmail integration is an optional, Pro-only feature that allows MyPersona to read emails from your Gmail account for the sole purpose of automatically updating your job application tracker. The integration has completed Google's Cloud Application Security Assessment (CASA) Tier 2 — the independent security review Google requires for apps that handle restricted-scope data like Gmail. By connecting Gmail, you agree to the following:
- Scope of access: You grant MyPersona read-only access to your Gmail inbox via Google OAuth. We only process emails that relate to applications you have explicitly added to your tracker — identified via sender domain, Reply-To header, or routing through a known applicant tracking system (ATS) such as Greenhouse, Lever, or BambooHR. We do not read, process, or access any other emails in your inbox. The full list of recognised ATS providers and how matching works is documented in our Privacy Policy, Section 5.
- No email storage: We do not store email content. Emails relevant to your tracked applications are fetched, passed to an AI classifier to detect application stage changes, and immediately discarded. No email subject lines, body text, sender names, or attachments are written to our database.
- What we store: We store an encrypted OAuth refresh token and a Gmail history checkpoint. These are deleted immediately when you disconnect Gmail or close your account.
- Your right to revoke: You may disconnect Gmail at any time from Settings → Integrations. Disconnection immediately deletes your stored credentials and revokes our access. You can also revoke access directly from your Google account at any time.
- Your responsibility: By connecting Gmail, you represent that you are authorised to grant this access and that doing so does not violate any applicable laws or agreements governing your Google account.

7. Coach Mode (B2B coaching workspaces)
Coach Mode is a separate B2B feature that allows career coaches and recruiters to manage clients within MyPersona. If you create a coaching workspace, the following additional terms apply.
- Coach responsibilities:When you build a Brain on behalf of a client, you act as a data processor for that client's personal information. You represent that you have the client's permission to enter their data into MyPersona, and you are responsible for ensuring its accuracy. You agree to use client data only for the coaching services you have agreed with them.
- Client invitations:When you invite a client by email, that client may accept or decline. Accepting links their MyPersona account to your workspace and gives them visibility into the Brain you have built. Clients may also choose “managed-only” (no MyPersona account, you operate everything on their behalf).
- Client ownership of their data: Clients own the personal data within their Brain. If a client invokes their right of erasure under applicable law (GDPR, CCPA, similar), MyPersona will delete that data even if it removes records from your workspace. Coach ownership of the workspace does not override client privacy rights.
- Archiving and snapshot transfer:When you archive a linked client, a snapshot of their Brain is transferred to that client's personal MyPersona Org so they retain access to the work product. You lose access to their workspace at archive time.
- Seat limits: Coach Mode is capped at 25 active clients per workspace. Active clients are those whose Brain you build, generate documents for, or otherwise actively manage in a billing month.
- Branding: You may upload your own logo and accent colour for branded exports. You represent that you have the rights to use the logo and that it does not infringe any third-party trademark.
- No misuse:You may not use Coach Mode to generate fraudulent documents, misrepresent any client's qualifications, or scrape/exfiltrate client data outside the supported export features. We may suspend coaching workspaces that violate these terms.
- Pro on personal account: While your coaching subscription is active (or in a billing grace period), your personal MyPersona account receives Pro-tier features at no additional charge — unlimited CV generations, all CV templates, Word export, advanced editing, all website themes, and other Pro-only features. If your coaching subscription lapses or is cancelled, your personal account reverts to whatever tier you pay for personally; any work you generated under the implicit Pro upgrade remains accessible per your retained tier.
- Pro for active clients: While you have an active coaching relationship with a coach whose subscription is active (or in a billing grace period), your personal MyPersona account also receives Pro-tier features at no additional charge — so you can download CVs and cover letters your coach builds, view and edit your Brain freely, and use the platform without artificial limits during the engagement. When your coaching ends (the coach archives you, or their subscription lapses), your account reverts to whatever tier you pay for personally; the work product remains accessible per your retained tier.

8. Subscriptions and billing
MyPersona offers a free tier, paid personal tiers (Standard and Pro), and a B2B Coach tier. Billing is handled by Stripe.
- Free tier: 2 CV generations per month, 2 document uploads, 30-day application history, 3 tracked applications.
- Standard tier: 10 CV generations per month, 5 document uploads, 90-day history, 30 tracked applications, keyword optimisation, 2 personas.
- Pro tier: Unlimited generations, unlimited uploads, permanent history, all templates, Word export, Gmail sync.
- Coach tier (B2B): $50/mo base + $15 per active client/mo. Up to 25 clients per workspace. Billed per coaching workspace and separate from any personal subscription. See Section 7.
- Billing cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly, quarterly (8% off), or annually (15% off) in advance.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time.
- Downgrade: If you downgrade, your account moves to read-only mode for the remainder of the billing period. All previously generated documents remain accessible.
- Refunds: Refunds are issued at our discretion. If you experience a technical failure that prevents you from using the Service, contact us within 7 days.
- Price changes: We will give at least 30 days notice before changing subscription prices for existing customers.
9. Service availability
We aim to keep MyPersona available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, upgrades, or events outside our control. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.
10. Intellectual property
The MyPersona platform, design, code, and branding are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
The CV and cover letter documents you generate are yours. You may use them for any lawful purpose without restriction.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- MyPersona is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: missed job opportunities, employer decisions based on generated documents, or data loss.
- Our total liability to you in any circumstances shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Account termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. Deletion is permanent and immediate — your Brain, applications, and account data are removed and cannot be recovered. If Gmail is connected, your OAuth credentials are also deleted and access is immediately revoked.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or for any other reason with reasonable notice where required by law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If that fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware.
